Wheel changes as required by 600 RACING/INEX have been delayed until 2011. For the 2010 Season you may run any wheel that was legal in 2009. No ruling has been made on the tires for 2010, as of November 23. Updates will be posted as soon as they are available.
Changes have been mandated for 2009 to Legends race cars by INEX/600 Racing. The following is a list of some of the major changes from the 2008 Legends rules:
- Protest fee for checking engine seals is changed to $200.00.
- Steel Braided fuel lines are mandatory in 2009.
- SFI 45.1 rated roll bar padding is mandatory on all bars within one foot of the driver's helmet.
- Legal helmet rating is changed to Snell SA-2000 or Snell SA-2005 full face helmets only.
- INEX approved Borla - S&S mufflers are mandatory.
- Maximum left side weight (52%) will be checked with the driver belted into the seat.
- The seat must be mounted with the centerline of the seat a minimum of 10" from the left side of inside of the drivers compartment roll cage.
These changes were effective March 1st, 2009
