Wheel changes as required by 600 RACING/INEX have been delayed until 2011. For the 2010 Season you may run any wheel that was legal in 2009. You may run either B F Goodrich or Federal tires on your car. Per a Dealers Conference call on March 10, 2010, for the 2010 season you may mix manufacturers as long as they are spec B F Goodrich or Federals tires.
Changes have been mandated for 2010 to Legends Race Cars by INEX/600 Racing. The following is a list of some of the major changes from the 2009 Legends rules:
- Protest fee of $500 for a sealed engine has been removed.
- Lead may not extend beyond the corners of the sub-frame at the kick-ups.
- metal fuel cells must be bolted in through the bolt holes in the can
- A bead lock wheel will be permitted for use on the right rear corner only
2009 REMINDERS
- Steel Braided fuel lines are mandatory.
- SFI 45.1 rated roll bar padding is mandatory on all bars within one foot of the driver's helmet.
- Legal helmet rating is changed to Snell SA-2000 or Snell SA-2005 full face helmets only.
- INEX approved Borla - S&S mufflers are mandatory.
- Maximum left side weight (52%) will be checked with the driver belted into the seat.
- The seat must be mounted with the centerline of the seat a minimum of 10" from the left side of inside of the drivers compartment roll cage.
